February 3, 2003air fare research commenced.
February 18, 2003James IV's passport arrives.
February 20, 2003James III's passort arrives.
Delta through Atlanta selected as the airline and general route.
February 23, 2003Delta prices jump $368.
February 28, 2003Delta prices jump another $368, peaking at $2,296.86 for James III and IV.
March 20, 2003U.S. vs. Iraqi war begins.
April 4, 2003Purchase deadline for air tickets and ground transportation.
Purchase Delta tickets from St. Louis to Atlanta and on to Manchester at Expedia.COM.
Attempt to purchase Tiger Air Express tickets on line.
April 6, 2003E-mailed Andersen Boats to request support in finding a B&B and a taxi to get us from Manchester to Middlewich.
April 8, 2003Confirm Tiger Air Express tickets and found out they didn't have the reservations. Purchased them over the phone.
Recieved an e-mail from Andersen Boats with an e-mail address for the B&B and confirmation that a taxi has been layed on for us.
E-mailed the B&B, The Narrowboat Pub, detailing our room needs. The e-mail bounced.
E-mailed Andersen Boats requesting confirmation of the e-mail address for the B&B.
April 10, 2003J.Harry Cutts' tickets arrived.
April 11, 2003E-mailed Andersen Boats requesting confirmation of the e-mail address for the B&B.
April 12, 2003Received new e-mail address for the B&B.
E-mailed the B&B, The Narrowboat Pub, detailing our room needs.
April 15, 2003Tax Day. Fortunately, our taxes are done.
Received e-mail from The Narrowboat Pub offering choice of rooms. Forwarded choices to J.Harry who is paying for the B&B.
Updated Web Site.

April 16, 2002Notified that Delta moved the departure time of the flight from St. Louis to Atlanta forward by 5 minutes.
Posted the extensive revisions to the web site done off-line over the last week.

April 24, 2003Order new Nicholson Canal Guide from Amazon.co.uk. The guide was not available from Amazon.com (US).

May 2, 2003Notified that Delta has again moved a arrival time into St.Louis on the return trip forward by 5 minutes. We will now be arriving back in St. Louis at 6:52pm

May 6, 2003Received from J. Harry, the log files for the 1987 canal trip. Tremendous thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Spent the evening converting the log files to HTML. Thank goodness for laptops.

May 9, 2003Finished the conversion of the 1987 canal trip log files to HTML. Posted the new pages. Revised the Boat Choices page to include links to the different companies and their logos.

May 31, 2003I've been horrendously busy at work and I have not had must change to work on this web site. Fortunately, the days have sped by and the trip is just around the corner.

June 13, 2003Commence cruise on the Trent and Mersey canal on board the Fjord Dutchess.
June 27, 2003Return to Middlewich to return Fjord Dutchess.
June 29, 2003Commence travel back to Columbia, MO, USA. (If necessary)
July 2, 2003 Return to work (if unavoidable).
