...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST Tuesday...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 6 PM CST Tuesday.
Snow will become widespread and begin to accumulate this evening and continue through the night. Snow may taper off to flurries and mix with freezing drizzle at times late tonight and Tuesday morning. Expect 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation by sunrise Tuesday morning. An additional inch of snow accumulation can be expected on Tuesday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is issued for a variety of winter weather conditions...such as snow...or freezing drizzle. It only takes a small amount of wintry precipitation to make roads... bridges...sidewalks...and parking lots icy and dangerous. It is often difficult to tell when ice begins to form...so do not be caught off guard.
