...The Flood Warning remains in effect until 745 am CDT Wednesday for small streams in northern Boone County...
At 942 PM CDT...local law enforcement reports several roads remain closed to the north of Interstate 70 caused by heavy rain which fell on Tuesday afternoon. Included in the closures is stone drive at Silver Fork Hill Creek to the northwest of Columbia. No additional rainfall is expected tonight...and water levels should continue to slowly fall overnight.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.
To report flooding...have the nearest law enforcement agency relay your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.
